Anterior Cervical Discectomy with Fusion (ACDF)

ACDF is a procedure done to relieve compression of prolapsed and herniated cervical discs on the spinal cord. The degenerated disc is generally replaced with synthetic grafts made of titanium or PEEK.

This surgery replaces a damaged vertebral disc in your neck with a cage. It's done to relieve painful pressure on spinal nerves.
