Trigeminal Neuralgia is condition resulting in severe sharp shooting pain along one half of the face. This pain can be continuous and intermittent. Usually presenting as toothache, precipitated by chewing, patients have had multiple dental consults and tooth removal before the diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia is made.
